Cancellation Policy
Quick Summary
- You can cancel your order free of charge any time before it is dispatched — just WhatsApp or call [SUPPORT PHONE], or email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
- Since payment is Cash on Delivery, you have paid nothing before delivery — so cancelling before dispatch costs you nothing and there is nothing to refund.
- After dispatch, the order cannot be recalled mid-transit, but you may refuse the parcel at the door. Please avoid casual refusals — repeated refusals can restrict your COD facility.
- We may cancel suspicious, duplicate, unverifiable or over-limit orders, and we will inform you if we do.
1. Cancelling Before Dispatch — Free and Simple
You may cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched, for any reason, without any charge or penalty. To cancel:
- WhatsApp or call: [SUPPORT PHONE] (fastest)
- Email: [SUPPORT EMAIL]
Please share your order number and the mobile number used for the order. We will confirm the cancellation to you by SMS/WhatsApp or email. Because all orders are Cash on Delivery, you have not paid anything at this stage — so there is no refund to process; the order is simply closed.
You can also cancel or decline the order during our COD verification call or WhatsApp confirmation (see our COD Policy) — just tell us you no longer want the order, and we will cancel it without question.
2. After Dispatch
Once your order has been handed to the courier, it cannot be modified or recalled mid-transit. If you no longer want the order after dispatch:
- you may refuse to accept the parcel when the courier attempts delivery — you pay nothing, and the parcel returns to us; or
- contact us at [SUPPORT PHONE]; where the courier permits, we will try to stop the delivery, though this cannot be guaranteed.
Please use refusal sparingly and, wherever possible, cancel before dispatch instead. Every refused parcel of a limited campaign product like Kumbh Amrit is a unit that could have gone to another devotee, and it costs return shipping that our transparent single-price model must absorb. As explained in our COD Policy, repeated refusal of confirmed orders, or repeated failed deliveries attributable to the customer, may lead to restriction or withdrawal of the COD facility for future orders from the same customer, mobile number or address. Any such restriction is applied fairly, after the pattern is clear, and you may contact our Grievance Officer if you believe it was applied in error.
3. Timing Note for Campaign Orders
Kumbh Amrit campaign orders may be dispatched in batches per the timeline on the campaign page ([DISPATCH TIMELINE]). You can cancel at any point up to the moment your specific order is dispatched. Once campaign stock is released back from a cancelled order, it may be re-allocated to other customers, so a cancelled campaign order cannot always be reinstated if you change your mind again — you may need to place a fresh order, subject to stock.
4. SANATAANI’s Right to Cancel Orders
To keep the campaign fair and prevent abuse, we may cancel an order before dispatch (and will notify you on your registered mobile number or email when we do) in situations including:
- Verification failure: we could not reach you on the provided mobile number to confirm a COD order despite reasonable attempts over a reasonable period;
- Duplicate orders: multiple identical orders from the same customer, number or address that appear unintentional — we will normally keep one and cancel the duplicates, and confirm with you where possible;
- Over-limit orders: orders exceeding the per-order or per-mobile-number limits of the Kumbh Amrit campaign (see the Campaign Terms);
- Suspicious or fraudulent orders: false names, fictitious or undeliverable addresses, use of another person’s number without consent, patterns indicating bulk-buying for resale, or a history of refused deliveries;
- Serviceability or stock issues: the PIN code turns out to be unserviceable, or campaign stock is exhausted before your order could be confirmed;
- Pricing or listing errors: a clear and obvious error in price or description; and
- Force majeure: events beyond our reasonable control that prevent fulfilment (see our Terms and Conditions).
Because payment is COD, a cancellation by us before delivery never involves your money — you simply owe nothing. If in any case an amount has been collected and the order is then cancelled, that amount will be refunded in full to your bank account or UPI within [X] working days.
